Join us as a guide for our Gochoda Sake Brewery experience and help international guests discover the depth of Japanese sake culture in Ureshino, Saga. This role is more than simply leading guests through a brewery. You will welcome participants, support smooth communication from arrival, guide them through the brewery, and explain Gochoda’s traditions, craftsmanship, and unique approach to sake production in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. Gochoda Sake Brewery, known for its signature sake brand Azumaichi, has been producing sake since 1922. Its philosophy is centered on making sake from the rice-growing stage, including the cultivation of Yamada Nishiki rice in the surrounding area. As a guide, you will help guests understand how the brewery brings together people, rice, and craftsmanship to create its sake. Our guests often join this experience because visiting a traditional sake brewery can feel difficult to navigate on their own, especially when they want to understand not only how sake is made, but also the cultural meaning and dedication behind the process. Your role is to help guests feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout the visit. If you enjoy meeting people from around the world, speaking English, and sharing Japanese food and sake culture through storytelling, this could be a great fit for you.
